None of my kids have ever gotten pink eye before until Today. Trevor has a serious case of pink eye in both eyes. His eyes look so painful that mine water every time I see him. And the best news is it's highly contagious. YEA ME!!!! I guess that's what you get when you go to school with 2,000 germy kids. Unfortunately I know this is only the beginning of whats to come in the cold an flu season..

Oh girl I feel your pain. I hate cold season with a passion. When my kids get home I make them immediatly go wash their hands and then I still follow it with hand sanitizer. But I still know it wont get everything because I know they are touching their eyes and mouth during the day. YUK!!!

I hope you don't get it! A couple of years ago Trent and Tyler got it and then I did (I think because I was laying by Tyler in his bed and got it from the pillow?) I was so mad because I washed my hands constantly trying to avoid it. Anyway, it is painful and annoying. I hope he feels better and that no one else gets it!
For the peach freezer jam the pectin that you buy has the recipe inside the box, that is what I used. I liked the “Ball” brand because it calls for less peaches (so it extended my free peaches to more batches) and no corn syrup, and it was cheaper than the other brands at Wal-mart. It is supposed to be good for a year in the freezer.
Ava and Asher are on antibiotic for it now too! It's going around. Someone else called me yesterday looking for a doctor because her daughter got sent home from Cactus Ranch with it as well. Yuck!
Pink eye must be the new thing! Kolby and Brinley have both had it and the doc said it can be a bad thing if you wear contacts (Brin does) so I've been dowsing their poor little eyes with antibiotics. The swimming pool is a common place to pick it up so I hear and we've done a lot of that this last while! Maybe Trevor got it through my computer!!!!!!! Yikes!
