I LOVE LOVE LOVE that in Texas the Teacher comes to your door to welcome your child into their class. We spend the morning making a treat to give to the teacher which helps the time pass and I only have to hear "whens the teacher coming?" 100 times instead of 1,000. The last two years I was to pre-occupied with the excitement when the door bell rang that I never got the chance to take a picture. This year I finally got one.
I love this school and am so glad we made the choice to move here. We have had 2 really great years and pray this one is just as wonderful. I can't believe summer is over already. It's been both long and hard, and short and fun all in one. It's been wonderful not dealing with sickness as well. So I PRAY that we stay healthy this year and not spend so much time in the ER!!!!

That is so cool to have the teacher come to your house. That must make your kids feel so special!I would love to do that here.
