Thursday as I was heading to the airport to go to Utah I saw this.
Yes even if you have no fear of flying this is something you don't want to see just before you get on a plane. I'm not a huge fan of flying so needless to say I was really hesitant on boarding the plane. With very little information on what happened. While I was at the airport waiting for the plane all the flight attendants were watching this on the news shaking their head. It was a pretty quite flight to say the least. The plane crashed right next to the building that Ryan works at. I was so grateful he wasn't there that day or I would of really been in a panic. We could see the flames as we were driving to the airport it was pretty freaky.
When I arrived I was so happy to get out of the airport and spend some time with family I haven't seen in years. Dustin my brother in law picked me up from the airport with his darling little girl Natalie. She is just the sweetest thing ever. And wanting to be a fun aunt I got them some cute hair bows and fun princess and design crafts to do. It was so good to stay with Cheryl and Dustin and play with my nieces and nephew. We stayed up way to late just chatting about life. It was such a fun evening.
I didn't get one picture of them what was I thinking? I wish I could of spent more time with them.
Early the next morning my Brother Shon and his wife Cindy picked me up to take me to Cedar. It SNOWED the whole way so we had to drive so slowly. We ended up stopping in Beaver to get fresh cheese for my Dad and ate ice cream for breakfast. WE are all so much alike. It's freezing outside at about 10:00 in the morning and all we wanted was ice cream. Finally we got to my parents house around 11:30 and got to work helping my Sister make wedding decorations. Ann came up with Dallin and it was good to set and chat with them.
Saturday we woke up early (it's still snowing) and headed to the church to decorate. Me being brilliant forgot to pack grubby clothes so I got to decorate in my pj's. Not one of my greatest moments. Finally we were done about 4:30 so I scarfed down some food and had been asked to fix my Sisters hair and Ann's hair. So I put my sisters 80's curlers in my hair dashing back and forth from Fiddlers to my parents house. But again I was so glad to have those few mins with Ann. She's such a beautiful girl and really like my daughter so it was so fun helping her get ready.
My sweet Niece Hanna got into the cupcakes. She wasn't the only one who's face looked like this. (uncle Mike) SO FUNNY!!!!
The wedding was beautiful and so was the bride. I shouldn't of used the curlers because I looked like Goldilocks with a bad perm. I couldn't tame the wild curls as I didn't have time to get myself ready. But that's ok the day wasn't about me. I was so happy to hold my great Nephew Landon the whole wedding he's such a sweet baby. And Holly was nice enough to let me steal him.
Dallin sang a cute song to his new wife Ann. My favorite part of the reception. I also love Cason her brothers face in the picture.
Ann and her siblings.
My sisters and I with the bride. Don't you love the cute slip too:).
My Mom's Sister and Brother with their spouses with my siblings. This was the funny table to be at. They all crack me up.
I left early and meet my great friends at the pub. I have such amazing friends that always come and see me when I come. It meant the world to me. I introduced them to my lip plumper and we had a great time making our lips fat and laughing the night away. Again I stayed up past 1:00 that night just chatting with family. Brandon and Jessie my other Nephew and his wife stayed at my Mom's because it was showing so hard so I got to play with my great Nephew Quade who is Gavins age for a while. He's so cute.
My besties. Ok I look large and in charge. Sorry for the bad picture girls. Especially ME. OH my I need to go on a real diet.
We got up early again because it was snowing and headed back to Salt Lake. Luckily we had a little time and stopped to see my Brother Mike and his sweet family. I was so happy to get to stop as he was the only one I didn't get to see while I was there. So it was fun to see all my siblings nieces and nephews and best friends all in one trip.
I was happy to get home and I felt so loved as the boys and Ryan greeted me with such excitement.
It was also so cute yesterday I asked Ryan what he wanted for dinner and his response was. "I don't care as long as I don't have to cook it." I think he realized all that I do and great a greater appreciation for me.
Congrats to the happy couple Ann and Dallin. I'm so glad I got to share your day with you.
