It's hard to say goodbye

My parents have been here for almost 14 days. They came to watch the boys while we went to the wedding. And since they don't get to come out very often they decided to stay a while. It was so nice to have them around. They really helped out alot with the boys. And they kept saying "I don't know how you do it". With our busy schedules coming and going, and Ryan's never home it makes for long hard days sometimes. But the kids were really good just very very active!!! They never set for very long.
We took them to Austin on Saturday and tried a new BBQ place. (I'm still a Rudy's fan and liked it better but it was fun to try something new.) And then took them to the capital and walked around downtown. My Mom's a big history buff and loves exploring historical buildings. We wanted to go to San Antonio and hit the Alamo but we just ran out of time. I guess they will have to come back for that one.
My Dad did a few projects around the house. My Dad rocks when it comes to projects I love it when he comes. We love having people over. It gets so lonely at times being so far away from family. We stayed up WAY TO LATE every night just chatting and playing cards some nights. They even let Ryan and I go on a date on Saturday. It flew by way to fast. I hated to see them go. And can't wait to see them again soon.

Hey there! Actually my mom will be in Texas! :) She and my Dad are driving there with Kevin, who will be living in Dallas for the summer doing an internship. So they'll actually be on the road on Mother's Day. Wish we were going too!
