Scout camp

Well I'm officially entering into the world of Scouts. I KNOW NOTHING about it. There are some scouting Nazi's out there who are pretty extreme. So I'm really grateful for them to help me learn all about it. By the time Gavin gets into scouts I should understand a few things! I dropped Trevor off at scout camp while I was wearing a skirt and white shirt, I can only imagine how I must of looked as I got some pretty interesting looks from the leaders. Everyone else was in Shorts and t-shirts ready to get dirty.
Camp has been all this week. Trevor's been quite the trooper being out in the hot hot sun 102+ from 8:30-4:30. He loved playing sports because at the end they just got out the hose and cooled the kids down by spraying them off.
You know scout camp was a success when you have to take a extra long shower just to get off the 1st layer of mud. His favorite thing was the bow and arrows, cooking (he made us dinner last night.) and of course shooting the BB gun. He's getting so big I can barley stand it. It was so good for him just to hang out with the boys and do boy stuff. That is what Trevor is all about. He can't wait for next year to do it again.
