What a week.

The last few weeks we have had some crazy events. First Trevor was doing his homework and started to complain about his stomach. It's never not a fight to get Trevor to do his homework so I thought he was just trying to get out of it. Until he started to cry. Trevor rarely cries so I knew something was up. He was grabbing his side and telling me it hurts so bad. So I went to help him out of his chair and was going to put him in the jetted tub to calm him down when he just collapsed in my arms. It scared me to death. Luckily I was holding on to him when he blacked out so I just laid him on the ground and ran to get Ryan to take him to the Dr. Trevor is a solid kid and weighs only 80lbs so it's really hard for me to lift him. This all was happening as I was trying to get Josh ready for soccer. I called a great friend to see where a insta care was that she goes to, and she so kindly offered to take Josh to soccer. That was such a help I would have been a mess at soccer. (so thanks again Adam and Stacey) I stayed at home with Gavin and I hated not knowing what was going on with Trevor I couldn't stop shaking. Ryan couldn't call as they were doing the x-rays to see if he had appendicitis. So I was so glad for e-mail and facebook :) luckily it was just food related. Trevor has had really bad food allergies most of his life. We were told through many tests that he had out grown them but it looks like Milk is still causing him problems.
I'm so happy that's all it was it was a frightening experience to say the least.

Then Ryan had to go out of town to New Orleans for a few days. He has such bad luck at the airport there and again had some problems with his flight and didn't make it home until 2am. Gavin had been sick all week so by Wed. we were both just exhausted.
I had to make cookies for Joshua's class on Friday so I needed to go to the store. Ryan was working from home luckily because as I was gone Ryan got called to go and pick up Josh from school. Josh saw a friend fall at recess and crack his head open. Josh doesn't do well with the sight of blood he always gets so sick. His teacher said he was as white as a ghost and he was about to faint. So they sent him to the nurse. Who just had us take him home. I love that Josh is so sweet he's such a good kid. He was still queasy most of the afternoon but by the morning he was back to himself.

Then on Thursday it's 7:10 a.m. I'm in my pj's loading the boys up to take them to school. When I remembered it was garbage day so I told Trevor to hop out and grab the garbage. He starts yelling "cool a snake." I went around the van to grab Trevor so he would not touch it when I saw it's tail heading towards me. That woke me up faster then anything as I flew up on the back of the van screaming at Trevor to not touch it and walk back slowly. Of course Josh comes around the corner to see. Very unkind works left my mouth as I saw the thing flipping towards me. Trevor was screaming it's stuck. I thought it was stuck under the tire and when I asked Trevor if he was sure it was stuck I decided to investigate. He was stuck alright in a gel trap. It's so disgusting. Ryan was still asleep and the thing was right by the car tire so I had to move it to get to school. I was trying to be so brave knowing it can't come off that trap but just as I bent down to grab it the thought of what if it did killed my bravery instantly. Poor Ryan got woken up with me pleading with him to come and get the snake so I can take the boys to school. The boys wanted to keep it and were freaking out that it was stuck. They wanted Ryan to pull it off the trap and free it. I don't think Ryan was fully awake as he went out side because he picked it up and threw it in the trash. (the poor garbage man) The boys were so mad. Later he took a picture of it in the garbage.

Last but not least it's finally Friday. Josh has his insect picnic today that we made 22 lady bug cookies for. They were not quite red and well not to cute. But they sure tasted good. I love to cook and bake I just stink at decorating and crafts. Josh was pretty excited to take them to his class. He has the best teacher she is so cute with the kids. Now we just have Scouts tonight, a soccer game tomorrow and pictures after the game. And then hopefully we can relax a little. Whew it's been a busy week.

Oh my gosh, Suzi! What a nightmare week for you. I would have DIED seeing a snake that close. Ahh, the joys of living in Texas, huh? Glad everyone is doing better!
