Gavin has really missed his brothers while they are gone. And when they get home Gavin gets drug along to all the after school activities that we do and can't participate. So he's been finding other ways to entertain himself. Now usually he's REALLY REALLY good. But a few things that are causing me to get gray hair is he's very adventurous.
Today he was such a stinker when my Visiting teachers came over. He's obsessed with babies and screams in their faces to get their attention. So I sent him upstairs to play and he ate and squished a whole tube of tooth paste all over. And the worst one is that he has discovered how to open the front door. THANK GOODNESS for our alarm that goes off when the door or window is opened so I always know if he's trying to escape. And today one of my biggest fears happened. I was in the shower, he was on my bed watching his show and playing with his beloved Diago airplane toy when he came and gave me a boat. I thought it was so sweet he wanted to give me a toy to play with while I was in the shower. Little did I know he was just trying to distract me so he could escape. Just as I put the shampoo in my hair I heard the dreaded beep. Knowing Gavin is obsessed with going out the front door I grabbed a towel and dashed just in time to catch him at the end of the drive way. We don't live on a busy street but there has been alot of construction going on with our neighborhood growing (finally) and there has been alot of dump trucks, tractors ect. going up and down for Gavin to want to see them. And yes it happened to be today that a truck load of workers were sitting on the vacant lot just in front of my house. Needless to say a trip to Home depot is warranted with the high locks getting installed. And to any construction worker out there. Your welcome for the peep show this morning. YA and when I called Ryan to tell him. He said "That's awesome." Um ya it's so not awesome. 
But I still love this little cutie. He's my little miracle baby!!! And so much fun to be around.

I couldn't find him the other day and when I finally did this is how he and Ryan were. We LOVE to cuddle with Gavin. Nothings better..

Oh my goodness!! I'm sad that we didn't stay and play with Gavin while you took a shower- what kind of vt am I?!Next time. He is such a cutie!Bella enjoyed playing with him today and I enjoyed getting to talk to you for a while. Sorry we took up your day!
LOL. Hopefully, you didn't have to spend too long outside in just a towel.
That EXACT same thing happened with Kate a few months ago. Scared me to death! (Except I didn't have to run outside in a towel...) We installed a pin in our sliding door and two big hotel-like bolts on our garage and front doors. Those kids of ours are so sneaky!
