Spring BREAK!!!

This year spring break was the WORST.  It started off with Trevor's broken arm and having to change our plans that involved any water. Saturday we went to Lano to go to the Original Coopers BBQ.  Ryan's gotta try them all.  He's obsessed. While we were driving back Gavin started screaming in the car saying his ears hurt.  When we got home he had a high fever so I took him to the Dr.  Low and behold another double ear infections for the poor little guy.  So we got him on some antibiotics and hoped that we could go somewhere and do something fun on Wed, Thur and Friday.  But on  Sunday Josh woke up with a fever and off to the Dr. I went with him on Monday finding out he had Strep.   So we spent Mon, Tue, and Wed. home with two sick boys and one CRANKY 10 year old. Ryan still had to work these days and I think I was going to go CRAZY!!!  When they boys started feeling better we decided to move Gavin upstairs.  Which was a HUGE JOB!!!  Not my idea by the way. Yes I''m a little bitter about it, but I know it's for the best. So we moved Trevor into the guest room and Gavin into Trevor's old room to where he and Josh have the Jack and Jill bathroom then moved the Guest room and our exercise room downstairs.  It took  two LONG STINKING DAY.  And then Gavin was so scared to stay in his room I've slept on his floor for days now.  But he is adjusting and it will get better.  Finally Friday the kids were feeling better and I needed to GET OUT OF THE HOUSE.  So we took them to Austin park and play.  Only to see when we got there was a 2 hr. wait just to get into the park.  So we ditched that idea and headed to the Main event.  It was so hard to find something for all the boys seeing how Trevor can't rock climb, swim ect.  They had a good time here just playing arcade games and miniature golfing.  Finally Saturday we really went out and went to the RODEO.  It was so fun.  We went early in the morning and there was zero lines to the rides.  The kids jumped from one to another.  They loved that stupid one that was called the graviton when I was little I think this time it's the star ship.  It makes you float as it just spins around and around.  Trevor and Josh went on it 7 times.  These are the same kids that puke on a tire swing but could handle that ride go figure.  They also had a BBQ sampling day where all these restaurants came in and had booths to try out the BBQ  Ryan was in HEAVEN.  We stayed long enough to see some mutton busting and then left when the big crowds came.   We all came home exhausted and happy.I was so glad we got to do something for spring break. But  I will say it was the LONGEST week ever and I 'm so glad school is back in session.
