I can't believe all the hard work you do for the pine wood derby. And it only lasts a second. CRAZY!!!!!! I guess it's all about the actual making of the car and not the actual race. We figured that with having 3 boys this will be the 1st of many derby's, and with no one in the ward having a saw we looked into getting one. Luckily we got a really good deal. Ryan was pretty excited to have his 1st power saw and he and Trevor spent many hr's out in the garage cutting up things it was pretty funny.
Trevor came up with the design of his car. And won the trophy for best design so he was pretty excited about that. But unfortunately for the race. We came in 2nd to last. The 1st race the car fell off the track. Trevor and Ryan were both pretty disapointed and I can guarantee next years Derby car will have some modifications to help it go faster. But for it being their 1st they did a pretty good job.

Fun, I remember those fun races. In UT, my brother's buddies had who wood shops at their disposal! They get so competitive.
Looks like Trevor had a great time. His car is cool.
