End of year already.

My last post was so depressing.  I'm trying my hardest to put all the thought of this  surgery behind me and just focus on all the end of year stuff we have going on. It's good to keep busy.  And oh boy do we have alot going on.

My little buddy got to got to Kindergarten buddy day.   This is a day he has been looking forward to for a long time.  Me not so much as I realize he's really going to go to Kindergarten next year and I'm not at all ready for that.

He LOVED it.  In fact he loved going to Kindergarten for a few hr's that he wanted to stay and go all day.  I'm so grateful that his school does this and helps kids know what they are getting into when they go. Not to mention he got the most amazing Teacher Mrs. Estes as his buddy teacher.  She was Josh's teacher and she is so wonderful.  We have been praying that Gavin gets her next year.

  •  Waiting to go in the class.
Meeting the Teacher and his new buddy.

Josh had his 3rd grade field trip of down town Round rock.  It's always fun to learn the historcial landmarks of your town.  I got to help out with a bunch of boys.  But as Josh said " this should be easy mom you're always with boys."  Josh's great friend Michael's mom was with us to.  It was nice to have another adult to talk to as we walked around and tried to get these boys to not get killed by the on coming traffic.  Not the safest field trip by any means.  Sadly it started to rain like crazy and so it got cut short.  But I just brought Josh home and we ate ice cream and played games.  It was nice to spend some alone time with him.  Being the middle child he doesn't get that all to often.  He's such a sweet boy.

Josh wanted to celebrate his birthday early in his class so I brought some Round Rock donuts his all time favorite up.  This was such a different experience then it has been in the past.  10 more days with this teacher just 10 we can do it.

Gavin and I had his last muffins with Mom celebration.  I'm going to miss his sweet pre-school teacher so much.  He just loves her and she is so very loving to him.

And last but not least we are having fun playing with our new puppy Sadie.   She's a sweet puppy but she's a puppy and driving me a little CRAZY.  She wouldn't sleep more then 3 hrs at night, I have to basically spoon feed her and she's scared of the grass which has made this clean freak a bit of a nut case with all the accidents.  But hearing my kids love her and play with her is worth every mess I have to clean.  I will have to admit she is just so sweet I kinda love her too.

Next up 700 adventures with Trevor.  Man this end of year is a killer.
