I have a new appreciation for Jake (OUR CRAZY DOG). Ryan and I were debating on putting him up for adoption because he's killing me. He has dug a hole through the back of our fence and keeps escaping. No matter how many times we fix the darn hole he seems to create a new one. While Ryan was out of town. The dog ran away in the pouring rain and then started chasing cars. When I finally caught him and both he and I were drenched and covered in Mud I decided that was it. It was the 3 time that day that he had run away. So I was ready to pack him up for adoption. Until two days ago he was outside barking like crazy and I went out to grab him and I heard this crazy rattle sound. I thought it was one of the weird green bugs that we have but when I stepped out side I realized it was more then a bug this is what I found.
So I slowly walked back in the house yelling at Jake to come in. Then I saw the snake lunge towards Jake he yelped and then the snake dashed away while Jake was chasing it. Luckily the snake must have missed him because he's doing just fine. And as I said I now appreciate the dog for saving me from being bitten from a rattle snake. The sad news is a neighbors dog was killed by a baby rattle snake just a few days ago. We are so lucky it wasn't the baby that was out there. And now Jake will be our snake protector. So I guess he's sticking around.

Okay is that for real? That's not a stock photo? I think I would pass out and then be bitten and die. That is great that Jake is okay and so are you! You crack me up with all the things your boys normally find at your house. Thank goodness this one was found by your doggie! Although this one IS mighty scary!
Yes this is a stock photo. I wouldn't get close enough to the thing to take a picture!!!!
