It's the best day ever???

I've been singing the spongbob "it's the best day ever" song to the boys all morning.  While I think the 1st and last day of school are the best for kids.  It's always the hardest on the parents.  I can't believe my baby is in Kindergarten.  And all 3 kids are in school all day.  This day wasn't supposed to happen for many many more years.  I'm going to miss these little stinkers while they are gone.  . I've been a stay at home mom with little kids in the house for 12 years. Now with them all in school I'm at a loss. But I can finally help out more in the schools and maybe actually have some me time.

Joshua' 1st day in 4th grade

Gavin 1st day in Kindergarten.  He wanted to make a number too so he just did Zero :).

Come on Mom do I have to take a picture here?

No tears at all.  He was beyond excited.  So proud of my boys.

We ran upstairs to take a picture of Josh as he dashed away from us so fast.  This is what happened when he noticed us.

I'll pretend not to see them then maybe they will go away.

They are not leaving please go away please.  He then said.  "stop this is so humiliating"  So funny.  Love that boy.



And my big 7th grader with his ridiculous socks.  I hate high socks but I guess they are the Style now. 



7th grade here I come.  I can't believe he's so big.  I hope this is the best year yet :)

 

I sure love these little guys and can't wait for them to come home and tell me all about their fun 1st day.
